Dr. Carrie Eckenhoff is a licensed physical therapist and board-certified orthopedic specialist who has been practicing in the Vail Valley for over five years now.  Her primary expertise is in working with individuals with a range of orthopedic conditions, including low back and neck pain, all foot/ankle/knee/hip/shoulder pain and injuries, cervicogenic headaches, temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorder, as well as post-operative care. She also has extensive experience and training in working with patients with post-concussive symptoms, vestibular/ dizziness disorders, and other neurological conditions.

Carrie takes an evidence-based approach and utilizes her expertise in manual therapy (hands-on treatments) to provide excellent outcomes for all her patients. In addition to her board-specialization, Carrie has completed her coursework towards an orthopedic manual therapy fellowship, and has learned from some of the leading manual therapists in the field.

Carrie is passionate about helping people achieve their goals, whether that is returning to a specific sport or simply functioning better in daily life. She is dedicated to providing one-on-one care in a calm, focused setting. Treatments Carrie offers include trigger point dry needling, manual therapy (soft tissue and joint mobilization, as well as joint manipulation),  therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular training, kinesiotaping, and individualized return to sport progression and home exercise plans.
